Colorful Lights

We hung Christmas lights outside today!

A 70 degree December morning provided the perfect opportunity!

When it comes to Christmas lights, I am drawn to white. I love to decorate with a clean, simple look, and white lights typically do the trick for me. I just love their understated elegance and tranquil twinkle!

However, an Advent tradition we've established with our family is evening outings where we hop in the car and drive around to look at Christmas lights, and it's loads of fun! But do you know what houses are the most fun to see? The ones with colorful lights!

They're so festive, we decided to decorate our own home in that spirit this year!

 It truly is so magical at night!

 So, if you're in the area, drive on by! We've got some festive sparkle going on over here for you! 

And then stop in for some hot cocoa and feel *really* festive!
