One Dirty Birthday Party!
Asher's birthday party was a hit! (Well, for everyone except Asher, who seemed to be on melt-down mode through the majority of it!) We managed to get a few pictures of his most cheerful moments, and had a good deal of fun with the theme. It all started with these invitations:
And what's a digging party without a sandbox??
The older kids played a game while the little boys enjoyed the samdbox
Here are our lovely hosts! The Weizeneckers kindly offered their fun backyard (and air-conditioned house) for the party.
The picture isn't great, but Asher's cake (Mocha mudslide) had little construction vehicles on it that were actually digging up the cake! So fun (and way too easy!) The dump truck was full of muddy-buddies (perfect!) and the food table was decked in black and yellow and orange.
Riley read Asher's favorite book, "Mike Mulligan and the Steam Shovel" by Virginia Lee Burton.
Such a fun party!! Way to go Tamara!! 2 has been a really fun year!
