Garden Fare

Yesterday I gathered a mini harvest from my garden.
A small handful of peas, a few cherry tomatoes, some basil and two baby carrots. 


Well, actually, there were four carrots, but my two year old was so excited about them, he insisted on having a couple, exclaiming, "Look Mama! I being like Bunny Bugs!"
I was so pleased he was enjoying raw carrots that I let him snatch half of my already small harvest...


But then, hmm... what to make with such a small assortment of veggies?

Risotto Primavera, of course!



Paired with a fresh salad and Hubby's fabulous grilled chicken: perfect.
mmmmmm...
