White is In

Well, it's been awhile since my last post. The reason for this is primarily because we seem to have misplaced our camera, and a post without a picture is so boring. Let's be honest! But the family came to town today for a pretty big deal in our house, and with them came Andrea's camera, and so I now have up-to-date pictures to share with you.
And of a very special occasion, at that!
Today, Riley received his white coat. His rite of passage into the medical student world. Don't call him mister. He's Student Dr. L. That's right. We're on our way to Physician status, and we got one step closer today!
(And by the way, that was a joke, you can still call him mister... if you must. *wink)
The school held a lovely (albeit somewhat long, at least if you're 2, or 7 months, and it's nap time, and you're hungry...) ceremony to robe the students in their white student doctor lab coats, which they will don as they make their rounds in the hospital, etc...
I couldn't be more proud.

Isn't he handsome?
Here he is, coming off the stage in his white coat, holding his new stethoscope!

Pediatrician, anyone?

Love you honey!

xoxo
